Founder’s Journey
Sometimes, life changes in a single moment.
What began as an unexpected cardiac diagnosis soon became a deeply personal journey through fear, uncertainty, surgery, recovery, rehabilitation, and resilience.
Facing major heart surgery was not only a medical experience it was a life-changing realisation of how overwhelming and isolating cardiovascular disease can feel for patients and their families.
During recovery and rehabilitation, one truth became clear:
Patients often leave hospitals with treatment, but without enough emotional support, awareness, rehabilitation guidance, or community care to help them rebuild their lives with confidence.
That realisation became the foundation of Appletree Health Foundation.
Built from lived experience, the organization was created with a simple but powerful mission:
to ensure that no patient faces heart disease alone.
Appletree Health Foundation is envisioned as a patient led movement focused on awareness, prevention, rehabilitation, advocacy, and compassionate support for individuals and families navigating cardiovascular disease across India.
From awareness campaigns to survivor support, rehabilitation guidance, and public health education, the foundation aims to bridge the gap between medical treatment and long-term recovery support.
The journey is not only about surviving surgery it is about healing, rebuilding, and empowering patients to return to life with strength, dignity, and hope.
